Are these girls behind bars for the public's protection or their own?

During one of my many trips to the Emerald Isle, I came across these students waiting for the school bell to signal the return to class.

It was clear they were all friends, but the question remained: Who among them is the Alpha, and who are the followers? I suspect the girl at the back with glasses might be the leader, but I’ll leave it to you to draw your own conclusion.
