The role of a unit still photographer goes far beyond simply recording the events during filming. Not unlike a photojournalist, I am tasked with capturing the very essence of the production—even in the stillness between takes. This was one of those captivating moments: Jude, lost in thought, bracing himself for the director's call of "action."

The scene in question was a daylight one and brightly lit. But I've taken some artistic license here, shrouding it in mood and mystery. By accentuating Jude's eyes, I pay homage to the iconic "film noir" 1940s films that would often use a similar technique, adding a timeless, dramatic flair."
